Recent Scholarship Awards

Letters from our scholarship recipients

Scottsdale Ballet Foundation supports scholarships for students throughout the valley, to attend summer professional development intensives around the country and the world. The next scholarship auditions will be held in January, 2017. The scholarships are available to all qualified ballet students from throughout the state. The annual audition of Arizona ballet students from any school in the state between the ages of 13-18, adjudicates for partial or full scholarships - to study locally and internationally. Judges are external non-affiliated professionals, who recommend selected students. Please contact us if you would like more information. For updates check this site in December 2016.

Dear Scottsdale Ballet Foundation,
I was chosen to receive the Scottsdale Ballet Foundation Summer Scholarship this year, and I am writing this letter to express my sincerest thanks to you for providing this scholarship. I was very excited to receive my award and letter.
It is an honor to be recognized for my hard work, and receiving this scholarship motivates me to continue to strive for excellence. I will be attending the Scottsdale School of Ballet Summer Program for all four weeks.

I am very excited to be attending the Texas Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive as well as doing two weeks of the Scottsdale School of Ballet intensive.
